Keen Transport is seeking Assemblers at our Pooler equipment processing center.

In this role you will be responsible for the completion of assigned work within the time and quality limits established. Total customer satisfaction is the primary goal of this position, doing the right things correctly, the first time. The employee also recognizes their responsibility to perform all work in a safe and efficient manner and to adhere to all the safety rules regarding the use of PPE including the wearing of safety toed work shoes or any other safety equipment deemed necessary.

Starting Hourly Rate $17-$18 depending on experience!

Responsibilities

Your background and experience include:
Ability to abide by all OSHA standards and company safety regulations.
Ability to operate heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment
Ability to Interpret machine manuals and schematics for assembly or repair purposes.
Current valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift overhead 50 pounds and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet
Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing
Sufficient hand and arm strength to un-package, install, or remove machine parts. May include the use of a 20 pound sledgehammer or other hand or power tools.
Pushing and pulling heavy material handling equipment such as floor cranes or jacks, and engaging in activities such as rolling tires or moving oak blocking.
Sufficient hand dexterity and strength to fasten, insert, and remove bolts and pins of various sizes and weights from a few ounces to 20 pounds and to operate and withstand the impact and vibration of electric and air-powered power tools.
Ability to work outside in all reasonable weather conditions
Ability to conduct work responsibilities while exposed to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc.
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems related to construction and agricultural equipment.
