Eaton’s Power Distribution and Controls Assemblies (PDCA) Division is currently seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is based at our Avery Creek, NC facility, the PDCA Headquarters.

Position Overview

The Senior Administrative Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations for members of our Leadership Team reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the division. Administrative support can include but is not restricted to presentation preparation, data analysis, meetings, events, and conference arranging, preparation, and issuance of monthly status reports, booking and coordinating meeting arrangements/travel and administration associated with key programs.

In This Function You Will

Have responsibility for all administrative support duties pertaining to the office of the SVP/GM, divisional staff, and distributed Product Line Managers including meeting arrangement, coordination and follow-through; travel arrangements; correspondence, filing, phone messaging, expense reporting, coordinating meeting calendar for leadership team, etc.
Prepare and maintain confidential organizational reports and records, with follow-up on pending matters as appropriate. Handles confidential material and information with necessary discretion.
Lead the coordination of management meetings (in person and teleconference) – organize, attend & manage agenda and action items for these meetings, manage meeting logistics, publish upcoming agenda topics and takes/distributes meeting minutes.
Coordinate travel arrangements, which could include coordination of the same for visiting senior management.
Coordinate and create routine and ad hoc reports, presentations, and correspondence cooperating with all levels of the organization and managing various sources of electronic information.
Manages internal and external correspondence as necessary with the ability to act independently.
Maintain effective relationships with multiple internal/external employees as well as external clients.
Provides secretarial support including preparation of T&E reports, check of Amex statements, scan, and file of correspondence.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Associates degree from an accredited institution or a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience supporting executive level staff members.
Experience and competence in Microsoft applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Avery Creek, NC will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
Five years of administrative experience.
Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Very effective in interacting with people at all levels of the organization as well as external contacts; customers, suppliers, etc.
Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
High degree of confidentiality, reliability, discretion, quality, and professionalism
Highly flexible and proactive in approach in order to perform a variety of important sometimes urgent, confidential, and complex tasks with constantly changing priorities
