President Donald Trump was arraigned on Thursday in Washington, D.C., on four charges related to a federal grand jury’s investigation into the events surrounding Jan. 6, 2021.
Stalwart as ever, the president declared before touching down in D.C. on Trump Force One that it was a “GREAT HONOR” to face legal persecution on behalf of American patriots everywhere.
He pleaded “not guilty” to those four charges.
He wrote, “I AM NOW GOING TO WASHINGTON, D.C., TO BE ARRESTED FOR HAVING CHALLENGED A CORRUPT, RIGGED, & STOLEN ELECTION. IT IS A GREAT HONOR, BECAUSE I AM BEING ARRESTED FOR YOU. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
The 45th president additionally pointed out the duplicity in the treatment between himself and Joe Biden as the entire Biden family is being investigated by the House Oversight Committee for an alleged bribery scheme involving foreign nationals.
Trump noted that D.C. was a terrible place for him to face trial in this case. He also added on Truth Social, “UNFAIR VENUE, UNFAIR JUDGE. We are a Nation in Decline. MAGA!!!”
As previously reported by RSBN, Trump’s first hearing for this case has been set for Aug. 28, but that date is likely to change based on the arguments from the defense.
On Thursday morning, President Trump slammed Joe Biden for weaponizing the DOJ to persecute the “leading (by far!) Republican Nominee & former President of the United States, me, with as many crimes as can be concocted so that he is forced to spend large amounts of time & money to defend himself.”
He promised that in 2024, “IT WILL BE OUR TURN” to exact even-keeled justice on the dirty dealings of America’s federal agencies.
He has also called this case “Election Interference.”
Trump wrote, “IMPOSSIBLE to get a fair trial in Washington, D.C., which is over 95% anti-Trump, & for which I have called for a Federal TAKEOVER in order to bring our Capital back to Greatness. It is now a high crime embarrassment to our Nation and, indeed, the World. This Indictment is all about Election Interference!!!”
