Funko is a purveyor of pop culture, making and selling license-focused collectibles. We’re based in Everett, WA where we have a store that delights kids of all ages (kids at heart included). We currently hold hundreds of licenses for franchises ranging from Marvel to Harry Potter, giving us the rights to create tens of thousands of characters—one of the largest portfolios in the pop culture and collectibles industry. We take your favorite characters and turn them into adorable, or sometimes scary, collectible figures. Our most famous line, Pop! Vinyl, has millions of fans around the world.

The Director of Sales manages our key Amazon national account. This position, based in Everett, WA oversee operational distribution for key retail partners, coordinate marketing efforts, product launches and sales promotions with assigned retail partners to achieve sales and profit objectives. Our environment is very fast-paced, and requires someone who is highly enthusiastic, flexible, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with multiple teams in a very ambiguous area.

What You’ll Do
Proactively contact buyers through outgoing calls and emails; actively sell and support new categories and departments
Analyzes POS and industry trends to suggest products to client.
Understands S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix
Utilize sales and inventory reports to identify licenses and products to solicit your customers.
Identify and grow opportunities with clientele and collaborate with Sales Management to ensure strategic growth attainment plan.
Participate in continued education/training to learn about new and existing product lines and improve sales techniques; be a trusted advisor on all things Funko.
Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction resulting in increased productivity and achieving quarterly incentive goals
Define distribution and retail strategy to support commercial development with retail partners
Analyze market trends and client needs for the development and performance of sales activities in assigned market
Establish sales targets, designing and implementing sales strategies to meet the targets and mapping the accounts to identify new opportunities.
Partner in the organization and execution of Funko’s portfolio of client-level campaigns from conception, evaluation, target definition and creative content specification to coordination of all aspects of execution.
Briefing and coordination of creative content creation for campaigns and promotional activities with key accounts
Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring leadership and strategic support to large deals
Forecasting activity to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement
Support national events and trade shows
Create and deliver presentations tailored to your customer’s long term business needs.
Consistently meet quota and revenue targets
What You’ll Bring
8-10 years’ experience in a Sales or Account Management role, preferably for a consumer product company selling direct to large, national retailers
5+ years in sales management
Proficient in retailer proprietary systems
Knowledge of collectible/toy/CPG industry and customer trends.
Out of the box thinker; creative and strategic mindset.
Understanding of PowerBI
Proven account management or other relevant sales experience.
Understanding of S&OP process to drive customer focused sales and build healthy product mix.
History of successful conflict-resolution and de-escalation of issues with customers.
Project-oriented, pro-active, creative and self-motivated work style.
Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering superior results within given deadlines.
Exceptional organization and time management skills.
Degree from accredited college or technical school preferred.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to provide reports to management on customer’s needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Experience with ERP or CRM systems preferred (MS Dynamics NAV)
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Work Environment

Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Moderate physical activity required. This position will routinely have to move, and lift up to 10 pounds and on an occasional basis lift up to 25 pounds.
