Region Sales Manager – PASO: BCNC Region

The BCNC Region Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for the overall development of local sales and marketing strategies for the assigned region to achieve annual volume objectives for the franchised KDP trademarks with our Pepsi bottling partners. The RSM will need to foster strong business relationships with the region bottlers’ personnel from the frontline to the leadership through collaborating on plans to drive increased sales and revenue for the bottlers and KDP. A high performing RSM will have a strong ability to analyze sales and syndicated data to develop fact-based sales stories aimed at influencing decision-makers within the bottlers and key retailers in the BCNC region to drive KDP’s performance objectives.

Responsibilities:

Create an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for assigned bottlers using in-depth bottler and retailer needs analysis and joint business planning sessions.
Localize annual overarching sales system goals and objectives to drive volume and execution results within assigned region.
Must have strong skills in developing effective sales presentations and delivering presentations in various meeting settings.
Consistently analyze sales data and business results to collaborate with region bottlers and retailers to build sales and revenue driving plans.
Identify and develop plans to increase distribution / availability of KDP products within the region.
Own the internal monthly, quarterly, and annual volume forecasting process for the assigned region based on year over year sales laps, activity opportunities and gaps, newly launched / deleted products, and current market trends.
Develop yearly budget plans and monthly forecasts for each assigned account to help track progress towards sales objectives.

BCNC Region Overview: The BCNC region encompasses all of Northern California. The region is comprised of Corporate owned PBNA (Pepsi Bottling North America) territory and one franchise bottler in Mount Shasta. The RSM will be responsible for four KDP trademarks within the BCNC region: Crush, Schweppes, Dr Pepper and Squirt. Annually, the BCNC delivers over $10,000,000 in revenue in very diverse and different markets ranging from major metropolitan centers to rural communities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

4-year bachelor’s degree
>3 years beverage industry experience, ideally, either calling on beverage distributors or retailers
Strong abilities in Microsoft office suite especially PowerPoint and Excel
Experience with working in IRi or Nielsen data interfacing systems pulling reports and analyzing data
Strong communications skills utilizing flex selling techniques to effectively communicate with all levels of customers
Experience managing budgets and trade spends
