The Waste Pro Landfill Manager will have oversite of a Waste Pro post collection facility to ensure that daily site procedures are following safety, environmental and equipment maintenance policies. The Landfill Manager will develop strategies to ensure post collection facilities are operating efficiently to maintain compliance and profitability.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain safe post collection facilities
Manage post collection facilities in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and Waste Pro policies.
Ensure consistent, compliant and profitable operations.
Monitor productivity and cost controls
Maintain ongoing oversite of all permitting and forecast potential issues
Meet with officials from environmental agencies, state and federal officials regarding operations
Train and mentor staff on issues regarding the operation of post collection facilities.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of Waste Pro post collection facilities through inspections, training and preventive maintenance programs with managers and employees.

Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, used by Waste Pro.
Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience: 5 – 10 years managing multiple landfills, including MSW and C&D landfills.
Normal setting for this job is carried out in an office, landfill or transfer station and includes a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors and dust
