The successful candidate will be part of Integrated Crew Planning and Operations Department in Flight Operations Division. He/She will be responsible for effective leave administration of Cabin Crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cabin crew leave administration for all leave types (annual leave, childcare leave, matrimonial leave etc.)
- Answer day-to-day queries and requests from cabin crew through the Planning service desk, with a good balance of efficiency, accuracy, clarity and empathy and track them for follow up.
- Extract and compile reports into usable formats
- Perform system testing and capture test outcome in an organized manner
- Report system defects and irregular system performance in test environment and Production
- Maintain and update leave system settings
- Contribute to improvement of chatbot performance in terms of crew leave Q&A
- Administrative handling of supernumerary (SNY) crew who are travelling
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Possesses a diploma qualification, preferably with IT or systems background
- Experience in system testing in test environments will be a bonus
- Well-versed in Microsoft office especially Microsoft excel
- A team player, able to work independently, highly motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly comfortable working with excel files
- Patient with answering and clarifying cabin crew’s email queries and understanding their needs

The Pros-

- If you are good and diligent at what you do, you can usually advance to a managerial position within a few years (3–6) and gain managerial experience. This is usually way faster than in smaller organization’s.
- The pay grade is usually a bit better for starting position and can improve to way better at higher ranks.
- There are all kinds of interesting opportunities to travel and\or meet people from all kinds of places and disciplines.
- You usually work in a team and not alone (might be a con for some)
There are usually opportunities for professional advancement – e.g. training, courses, studies etc.. - You gain connections.
- You train on some very complex computer systems.
- You get better benefits such as pension and medical insurance.
The Cons-
- You are just one small grain in a pile, and especially in the beginning, you influence very little.
- You are limited to just one small area of a profession \ skill set (might be a pro for some)
- You must do things their way, you can’t do things your way, even if proven to work better.
- There are TONS of politics that effect everything, and I mean everything.
- Things move at a very slow rate usually.
