How You Can Make a Real Impact

The ACT Administrative Assistant provides administrative, technological, and general office support to the Program.The Administrative Assistant’s responsibility is to support the team in completing administrative functions including phone reception, medical record request submissions, ordering supplies, electronic filing, and taking notes during team meetings, issuance of check requisitions from accounts payable, and assisting with new hire paperwork.

Responsibilities/Duties
Assists in processing new hire paperwork and other staff related documents
Requests payment for program vendor bills
Orders program supplies as needed
Manages consumer/participant charts
Manages employee files
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience

3 years experience required

Required Education

High school diploma required

Required Qualifications
Valid Iowa driver’s license
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Products and Applications
Program Summary

RHD’s Iowa ACT – Cross is an evidence-based, best-practice model of service provided through an interdisciplinary team to ensure a recovery-oriented system of care. Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) is available 24-hours a day, seven days per week, and is prepared to carry out a full range of treatment functions in the participants chosen community. Team members work together with the individuals served to promote symptom stability and appropriate use of medication; restore personal, community living and social skills; promote and maintain physical health; establish access to entitlements, housing, work and social opportunities; and help maintain the highest possible level of functioning in the community.
