“The Finance Platform Analytics organization leverages technology to optimize processes and data gathering, focusing our human resources on value added analytics and solution generation. We are the financial data experts of where data lies, how it is connected, and how to retrieve it . The Reporting and Visualization team within the Finance Platform Analytics organization is focused on delivering the data in the best format based on the end user requirements, be that Excel, PDF, Tableau, Power BI, or some other delivery mechanism.”

 

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Reporting & Visualization Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining reports including  data visualization models produced by the Finance Platform Analytics team.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the existing visualization models already developed are being maintained through regular data refreshes, required maintenance updates, and user update requests.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Platform Analytics Data Sourcing team to develop new reporting/visualization solutions for internal customer requests.
  • Provide expertise to Internal customers in determining which reporting/visualization tool is appropriate for their needs.
  • Provide analysis of existing reports / dashboards / data and interpret periodic financial data for functional management accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Preparation of monthly financial metrics and key business drivers specific to different functions.
  • Reviewing processes and suggesting / implementing improvements and changes to current procedures.
  • Assist in key month end activities which provide oversight of completeness and accuracy of underlying management information. Example: Review driver loads for sales, gain share calculations, etc.
  • Reviewing financials on a daily basis during the month-end period and reporting issues to finance management, comparing actual to plan / forecast / prior period to ensure correct month-end close and investigating unusual postings of expenses.
  • Prepare accruals and other journal entries for the month-end close process.
  • Drive continuous development in reporting / visualization tools for self.
  • Provide key ad-hoc work as needed.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Reporting and Visualization tools, or in lieu of a degree with 3-5 years of experience in Reporting and Visualization tools.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience Tableau, Power BI and/or Python.
  • Strong relationship building and collaboration skills to work in a highly matrixed environment
  • Advanced technical knowledge of visualization applications (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with financial systems like Oracle/Hyperion.

Desired Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience in Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of MS Access, Advanced Excel & Macros
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financial Data Warehouse (OFDW) & Hyperion (Smart View)
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally, and cross culturally.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Ability to understand and anticipate end user needs, develop efficient data structures to deliver those needs while maximizing computing power.
  • Strong analytics, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter, ability to quickly learn, adapt, shows initiative and thinks outside the box.

Eligibility Criteria:

Graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 1-2 years of experience in Reporting and Visualization tools, or in lieu of a degree with 3-5 years of experience in Reporting and Visualization tools.

 

Work Timings: 3PM to 12 AM IST

Role Summary/Purpose:

The Cardholder Documents Team oversees the creation, updating and maintenance of various content and communications. We are a seeking a Platform Analyst to use Marketing Technology (for example, Docu-Nova) to create, update and deliver customer required communications. The Platform Analyst , reporting to the Docu-Nova Platform Manager is an individual contributor and is responsible for accurately creating, updating, and creating various types of customer required communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, update and test regulatory-required cardholder documents using relevant Martech.
  • Consistently maintain a 99.9 accuracy level for templates, content blocks, and documents.
  •  Manage the tactical execution of multiple online and printed templates for internal clients using Workfront to obtain required approvals.
  • Ensure content, templates and documents meet client requirements, SYF/Client brand standards, channel requirements, legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Create or modify XML, Schema Definitions (XSD) as needed to create and/or update content blocks, templates, and documents.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • 0-2 years of XML, XSD, Data Model and JavaScript experience.
  • 1+ years of HTML, CSS and Oracle Database experience.
  • 1+ years of Project Management, preferably Agile

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

  • Analytical thinking.
  • Adobe InDesign experience
  • Strong problem solving, analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience working in and navigating a highly regulated business.

Role Summary/Purpose :

AVP, Loyalty Analytics (Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). The role will deliver on business and organizational priorities for Loyalty Center of in solving business problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The candidate will play a crucial role in partnering with various functional teams to consolidate and build an inventory of loyalty programs . This will be leveraged to address and solve loyalty use cases at scale, helping to enhance customer engagement while optimizing for Reward R.O.I and thereby driving the company’s long term vision on loyalty. This person will also own the delivery and diagnostics of loyalty metrics at an enterprise level .

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as business consultant who will be the primary point of contact between the Rewards C.o.E, IT and Analytics Teams , offer analytical and strategic thinking, be able to translate business  requirements into technical specifications
  • Co-Lead the Development of a scalable  and efficient Loyalty Inventory solution by leveraging expertise in databases and various reward programs . Play a hands-on role to ensure the solution’s accuracy , completeness and long term reliability
  • Consistently deliver comprehensive loyalty reporting through the Synchrony BI platform , ensuring enterprise-wide insights while meeting the unique reporting needs of individual clients
  • Drive data driven insights for partners on value propositions ,provide industry benchmarks & insights on usage  and recommendations for program effectiveness
  • Lead strategic initiatives and analytic solutions from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in compliance with audit procedures, while driving commitment to last-mile project execution

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of hands-on relevant analytics/data science experience, or in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics/data science experience
  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS Tools with ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data
  • Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and storyboarding skills
  • Ability to solve complex technical and business problems with minimal supervision
