What role you will play in our team
- Be an integrator of information from various parts of our CCUS business, applying creative analytics and optimizations that help us create a world-class, scalable carbon capture system
- Interact with the various parts of the organization to understand evaluation use cases, collect needed data, define & execute analyses, and present insights that impact decision making
- Run our proprietary system optimization tools and be engaged in the development process for extending these tools
What you will do
- Use optimization tools, financial modeling, and profitability analysis skills to generate quantitative insights resulting in an improved financial performance of our CCUS system

About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or science disciplines
- 5+ years of combined experience in technical/commercial roles, investment banking, and/or management consulting
- Strong business analytics skills with demonstrated experience in financial modeling via Excel or other tools, and in presenting quantitative insights via PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar
- Excellent top-down and structured communication with ability to present complex ideas to an executive audience
- Low Carbon / Energy Transition or Oil & Gas experience

Senior Polymer Scientist
Help grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business.  These resin formulations are based on cyclic C5 monomers and other proprietary monomers and additives. Our catalyst formulations have strong foundations in Nobel Prize-winning technology developed by Professor Robert Grubbs and his research team. This powerful combination produces polymers that have the capability to outperform today’s thermoset composite solutions across a broad set of everyday applications such as wind turbine blades, electric vehicle parts, construction, and anticorrosion coatings.
Your role is developing fundamental understanding of how our products work and how to leverage those fundamental understandings to design the next generation products and processes. Core to this role is the ability to develop structure-property relationships between catalyst, formulations, processing, cure state, and ultimate performance. Â This is a great chance to help shape the future of polyolefin thermosets and develop the governing understanding for product in a growing business.
Your office is at the Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex located in Baytown, Texas. Â However, a significant part of your time will be spent collaborating with commercial colleagues located at the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas, as well as occasionally traveling in North America and internationally to support customer trials.
What you will do
- Develop fundamental understanding of polymer product relationships between molecular structure, processing, and properties aimed at developing new products and applications.
- Writing technical reports, white papers, articles for publication, collateral, and/or patents.
- Progress new projects to commercialization using rigorous stage / gate process.
- Provides expertise and consults for major troubleshooting and quality improvements of commercial operation at customers and Proxxima manufacturing sites.
- Support process development through product structure – property relationship development, seeking to optimize process/plant performance.

Senior Analyzer Engineer
The Process Analyzer Engineer is responsible for the design, optimization, and implementation of a wide variety of on-line process analyzers to be installed at petrochemical and refining sites. This individual would also provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing site maintenance and business teams. This involves time in the field ensuring that the installed analyzers are contributing to safe, environmentally sound, reliable, and profitable operations and time in the office attending planning and business team meetings.

- On-line analysis of petrochemical and refining streams and their final products
- Provides day to day support to Process and Maintenance on analyzer equipment regarding malfunctions and deficiencies and recommends actions to enhance equipment reliability
- Development and execution of analyzer projects and strategies in support of capital projects that impact global energy supplies using safe and cost-effective methodologies
- Support to maintenance and operations for existing analyzer fleet
- Deployment of new process analyzer and sensor technologies, as applicable

About you
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a process analyzer engineer is required for this position or a combination of the following education and work experiences:
- A Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with more than 4 years of process analyzer experience,
- M.S. in Chemistry with a minimum of 6 years of process analyzer experience
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated ability to use and troubleshoot at least one of the following analytical chemistry/instrumental analysis techniques:
- Gas Chromatography
- Molecular spectroscopy (IR, UV/Vis, Raman, etc.)
- Mass Spectrometry
- Electrochemistry

Your role is to help prospective customers around the world convert from their existing thermoset products to ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset systems by demonstrating cycle time, weight, and physical performance advantages on their composite fabrication equipment.
Your office is at the Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex located in Baytown, Texas. Â However, a significant part of your time will be spent collaborating with commercial colleagues located at the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas, as well as occasionally traveling in North America and internationally to support customer trials.
What you will do
- Provide on-site technical support for customers producing non-reinforced molded goods using reaction injection molding (RIM)
- Assist customers in optimizing / troubleshooting their process to run ProxximaTM resins and, where needed, provide guidance on equipment upgrades
- Lead application development projects utilizing RIM equipment located in our Baytown facilities
- Personally run this equipment to produce samples needed for these projects and customer sampling
- Provide technical insights gleaned from the market to help guide new application developments
- Provide market insights to inform and update business strategy
- Develop novel technology to strengthen the portfolio of intellectual property
- Author technical reports and technical publications to share learnings
- Co-author promotional brochures and technical data sheets highlighting performance benefits
- Train and mentor less experienced colleagues
