ABOUT GRADALIS:

Founded in 2003, Gradalis is a privately held, late-stage clinical biotechnology company developing a personalized immunotherapy called Vigil, that has been tested in multiple studies in ovarian and other cancer tumor types. Based on its Phase 2b clinical trial results, the company is preparing to initiate a Phase 3 trial designed for product registration of Vigil in patients with ovarian cancer. Vigil is the first cellular immunotherapy to demonstrate survival benefits in a randomized controlled trial of patients with solid tumors. The results of the company’s Phase 2b trial have been published in Lancet Oncology and presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Vigil is being studied in other cancer types and has shown positive results in combination with checkpoint inhibitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Investor Relations is responsible for ensuring the company is appropriately and strategically positioned with analysts, investors, and all stakeholders. The individual in this role will:

· Report directly to the CFO

· Be responsible for creating appropriate strategy, framework, and tactics for communications with analysts, investors, and stakeholders

· Assist CEO and CFO in Company’s fundraising efforts

· Assist management team in preparing analyst, investor, and stakeholder presentations

· Manage relationships outside of the company in the equity research and investor community

· Develop investor confidence and belief in the company’s vision and strategy for delivering stakeholder value

· Create and manage a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external parties

· Provide insights on market activity and present them to the leadership team

· Analyze and present financial trends, competitor behavior, shareholder issues, and other factors that could impact the business

· Manage quarterly earnings conference calls and analyst updates

· Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters

· Assist in preparing the company’s Annual Report, 10-K/10-Q, 8-K, and other SEC filings

· Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Director of Investor Relations must be a seasoned professional who has extensive experience in generating business results and leading teams with effective management skills. Success in this role requires collaboration, communication, leadership, and vision. Qualifications desired for the Director of Investor Relations are:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or life sciences

· MBA, MD, PhD, or FMVA certification is an asset

· 7-10 years of experience dealing with investors and a strong track record of creating positive relations with the investor community and equity research analysts in a public corporation or Wall Street firm.

· Proven track record of career success and advancement

· Strong understanding of SEC laws and securities disclosure requirements, as well as filing requirements

· Deep knowledge and understanding of the capital markets, as well as a thorough understanding of key metrics for companies in the industry

· Intimately familiar with financial modeling techniques and valuation methods used by analysts and investors

· A strong understanding of macroeconomics, capital markets trends, competitor activities, industry dynamics, and customer trends

· A professional who is also entrepreneurial, and has a client-minded focus

· Must be able to perform in a high-pressure environment, and be able to meet tight deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

LOCATION:

Gradalis is located in Dallas. The position will require some travel each month with some of that spent in Dallas. A hybrid work from home arrangement is acceptable with no required relocation.
