Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for partnering with business unit leaders to define and deliver innovative, critical initiatives and solutions that align with our Core4 values. Must be an inspiring leader in many areas, including but not limited to strategy, org design, employee engagement, diagnosing talent, training/coaching/mentoring, regulatory compliance and employee relations.

Responsible for providing HR leadership to influence strategic business decisions, guide and support client groups and establish and maintain strong partnership with assigned Business Partners. Collaborate with Senior HR Leadership and Business Partners to implement HR and business strategies/objectives.
Partner with and provide HR guidance and support their client group to support their objectives including but not limited to, workforce planning and development, organizational development and performance, org design, HR employment practices, rewards and recognition strategies, diversity, employee relations and succession planning
Liaise and collaborate with leadership, HR Generalists and business partners/divisions on the implementation of HR and business strategies
Lead all aspects of the development, implementation, management and success factors of talent development and recognition programs across the company
Oversee, develop and lead a team of HR Partners
Interaction and coordination with the various HR Centers of Excellence in order to assist business leaders and employees
This role is hybrid with some time spent in the downtown Chicago office. Some travel required.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelors’ Degree; operational people leadership may be substituted for educational requirement
7+ years of progressive HR experience/Generalist experience with emphasis on business partnerships, direct experience supporting business leaders, employee advocacy, change activities, HR administration
3+ years of management, 1+ year people leader experience
Experience leading HR for multiple work groups
Excellent interpersonal communication and good business acumen
Highly effective at building partnerships and influencing leaders at all levels of an organization
Strong collaborator with other HR/LR support teams and business partners
Experience at leading a strong team focused on delivering business results
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
Master’s Degree
Experience supporting both corporate and operational work groups
10+ years HR/Generalist experience with emphasis on business partnerships, employee advocacy, change activities, HR administration & talent development
Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships and collaborate with all levels of the organization
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with proven customer service orientation
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to plan, prioritize and make solid business decisions in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical skills
Well organized with the ability multi-task
