Description Essential Functions

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models of the company, could include long range forecast models, cash flow models, labor cost models, project finance models, Flight Profitability models, and/or other models as may be requested.
  • Maintain, optimize, and improve upon existing forecasting and budgeting tools as necessary to improve efficiencies and increase analytical capabilities of the broader FP&A organization.
  • Support Business Unit Finance as necessary to provide analytical support for operations analysis and decision making.
  • Prepare cost/benefit analysis of proposed projects and investments; develop and support recommendations to senior management
  • Prepare ad hoc operational and financial analysis and special projects
  • Analyze relevant information, trends, and data to support decision making and forecasting
  • Support broader FP&A organization budget and forecasting efforts on select cost items, including items such as, but not limited to, aircraft ownership and leasing expenses, debt and cash forecasting, balance sheet forecasting, etc.
  • Build effective presentations for communication to senior leadership and Board of Directors in support of various initiatives and projects

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in an analytical role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or other analytical field
  • Advanced degree preferred (MBA or equivalent) Preferred Skills
  • Working knowledge of airline economics preferred
  • Experience with financial modeling
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work with all levels of the company
  • Excellent PC skills with MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint experience Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment.
