Then Thomson Reuters Corporates Professionals is looking for you! The Director, Reporting & Analysis role sits within our Business Transformation team, who are primarily accountable for key Corporates priorities.

This role will be responsible for working across the Corporates organization with key business partners (e.g. Finance, Commercial Excellence) to build and deliver a strategic reporting and analysis framework our highest priority business initiatives – providing complex and timely data collection, trend and variance analysis reporting, and forecasting in regards to NRR, discounting on pricing, Next Best Action campaigns, etc. The work may include identifying key cross-functional partners, structuring data, developing requirements, providing strategic and predictive analysis, facilitating cross-functional delivery of the work, and capturing impact delivered to our senior stakeholders.

About The Role

Your responsibilities will include building and leading cross-functional project teams to drive high priority business initiatives. You will enable business leaders to own critical changes by asking thoughtful questions, challenging assumptions and old practices, providing structure to the work and being a key thought partner.

You will work across multiple stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Commercial Excellence) to:
Establish reporting required to track Renewal price impact (data discovery, analysis and syndication)
Revise target price increases where guidance is sub-optimal
Ensure price guidance is consistent across different systems and tools (e.g., Order Capture, Tableau, Digital Renewals, Auto Renewals)
Review Delegation of Authority for price governance by product and refine / establish where gaps exist (including recommending short-term unlocks where governance has not been possible due to data constraints)
Work closely with the business stakeholders to review reports and highlight / deep dive into biggest areas of opportunity
Prep reports for leadership review meetings
Work with Analytics and Tech team to automate reporting (translator capability)
Critical Competencies for Success

About You
College degree; advanced degree preferred
6+ years of general corporate finance, accounting, or commercial experience
Proficient in Microsoft office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Access required.
Knowledge of SAP, Data Warehouse, Business Objects and Cognos preferred
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey messages using visual channels and branding; work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential topics
Proven interpersonal skills required with ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization
Highly motivated with ability to drive results
