Performance Management & Talent Development: – Collaborate with HRM and Store Managers to conduct thorough needs assessments, and partner with the learning and development team to implement targeted training programs aligned with organizational objectives. – Support career development and internal mobility initiatives in partnership with HRM, providing employees with clear pathways for advancement and maximizing talent retention. – Drive the performance management process, providing expert guidance to managers on setting SMART objectives, conducting effective performance reviews and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. – Conduct comprehensive salary benchmarking and individual compensation reviews, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices. – Serve as a subject matter expert on compensation structures, bonus schemes, and career progression opportunities, providing expert advice and guidance to employees. Emiratization: – Collaborate with store leadership and head office stakeholders to ensure consistent adherence to the Emiratization Mandate across all locations. – Conceptualize and implement a comprehensive Emiratization Graduate Program within Louis Vuitton, designed to attract and develop top Emirati talent. – Lead the development and execution of strategic networking and upskilling initiatives throughout the UAE, specifically tailored to cultivate local talent with a passion for luxury retail. HR Projects & Policies: – Spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive action plans based on employee engagement survey results, driving measurable improvements in workplace satisfaction and employee morale. – Collaborate on regional HR strategic projects, contributing expertise and insights to support broader organizational goals and initiatives.

About the Role

The HR Support Specialist plays a key role in delivering efficient, accurate and timely HR services to employees and managers. This position supports a wide range of HR processes including onboarding, employee lifecycle administration, data management, reporting, and general employee support. The role is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, organized, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team and wider business.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, coordinating orientation sessions, ensuring IT and access readiness
  • Manage employee lifecycle activities such as contract changes, transfers, and offboarding processes.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries on policies, benefits, payroll coordination, and other HR-related matters.
  • Support recruitment coordination activities including scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and background checks.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

The Senior Specialist, HR Operations – Benefits and Leave of Absence is passionate about delivering end-to-end customer-focused solutions and drives the HR Operations team to deliver superior services to our end-users: Employees, Alumni, Partners and Stakeholders.

Working closely with other members of our Global Talent Organization, including our Benefits team, the Sr. Specialist will exhibit a broad scope of knowledge and contribute proactively to the planning and delivery of day-to-day HR service delivery activities.

The Senior Specialist ensures that HR Operations is consistently on track for delivering a high-level customer experience, driving the team to execute with efficiency and ensuring adherence to LinkedIn process, culture, and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver operationally expert benefits and leave support for employees in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Serve as a primary escalation point for complex benefits and leave issues, resolving cases efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain strong relationships with employees and stakeholders, collaborating across teams to ensure satisfaction and timely service within SLAs.
  • Audit and maintain data integrity in HR systems and tools, ensuring accurate and complete information.
  • Communicate process status, updates, and issues clearly to clients and partners.
  • Support and administer HR programs, policies, and processes related to benefits, perks, and leaves of absence.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits administration or HR/Benefit Operations directly supporting Benefits
  • Experience acting in a lead or subject matter expert capacity on an HR services team
  • Experience supporting employees through Leaves of Absence (LOA), including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other regional/state programs.
  • Experience working in a shared services environment
  • Experience with HRIS and case management systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting accommodations processes (ADA, accessibility, workplace adjustments) strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience driving outcomes among cross functional teams without having a direct reporting relationship
  • Strong analysis/quantitative skills and the ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks
  • Experience with knowledge management principles and systems
  • Strong customer service orientation with proven ability to provide accurate, timely, and empathetic support in a shared services or case management environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with benefits vendor management and escalations with benefits providers.
  • Relentlessly devoted to the ‘employee experience’ in all things
  • Knowledge of Canadian benefits, provincial health systems, and leave programs.
  • Prior experience working in a large, global shared services or HR operations environment.
