Role Summary

We are seeking a sports marketing activation and experiential expert who can help us bring the Evernorth brand to life in new and innovative ways. This sponsorships guru will manage and execute on our major sports marketing partnerships for Evernorth Health Services The ideal candidate will have experience in helping to bring a brand’s sports activation strategy to life in a fast-paced environment.

Seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who will create strong relationships and partnerships with key business and COE leaders and lead day-to-day activation conversations with our agency partners and other key stakeholder groups including campaign and content strategy, brand strategy, sales and business marketing. It’s crucial that this candidate can inspire team members with energy, passion, creativity, and innovation.

This role sits within the Sponsorship team and reports to the Senior Branding Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The Branding Advisor, Sponsorship Activation will:

  • Lead Evernorth sports marketing activations, from brief to concept to execution, managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of activation.
  • Bring our tentpole sponsorships to life in innovative ways, reshaping consumers’ perception of Evernorth and health services industry as a whole
  • Design and execute activation touchpoints and ensure alignment with business objectives and overall brand
  • Oversee branded content partnership initiatives across applicable sports partnerships, inclusive of ideation, production support, and integration and amplification into paid/owned/earned media channels
  • Support the development of a multi-year sponsorship activation strategy that will help fuel long term business growth and create immediate business impact for Evernorth’s multiple lines of business
  • Establish, maintain and elevate KPIs and metrics to ensure the success of our sponsorship programming and activations. Regularly report on the progress and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Use insights to optimize current programming and inform future opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive long-term value. Act as day-to-day activation contact for our partnership agency and property partners, ensuring clear communication and execution.
  • Serve as a sports marketing/sponsorship expert, helping to educate the organization on sports marketing activation, audiences, trends, tactics, and results
  • Dive deep into the performance of sports marketing, identifying trends, wins, optimizations.
  • Foster a performance focus culture within the Brand, Events and Sponsorship team

Qualifications, Competencies, Experience Should Include

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7+ years of experience in a corporate or agency setting with a deep focus on sports sponsorship activation
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimizing sports sponsorship/event budgets
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and influence others across a highly dynamic and matrixed organization
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to foster collaboration
  • Agile learner with a thirst for knowledge and a desire for continuous learning opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel expected: 15-20% with some weekend events/programs

Client Account Lead Analyst – Hybrid – Seattle, WA or Portland, OR

The Sales Client Account Lead Analyst role is a key member of the Client and Growth Services organization, providing advanced professional input to complex Client Services geographically assigned local market book of business and projects for a designated region, while working collaboratively across the segment and matrix lines. This role manages a complex book of business and is accountable to proactively manage, respond and address complex inquiries through strategic service plans to facilitate results attainment for the client experience and net promoter score (NPS), persistency and overall customer growth. The Account Lead Analyst is also responsible to support and provide direction to more junior professionals utilizing in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop processes and procedures and monitor trends within Client Account Services.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience and ability to manage a complex book engaging proactively with the client/broker, solving unique service issues and inquiries, ensure potential problems are averted, work autonomously and collaboratively, only requiring “expert” level technical support from others and both inform as well as effectively communicate internally and externally.

Please note: This hybrid role will require the incumbent candidate to come into a local Cigna office 2-3 days per week. The incumbent candidate can be based out of the following offices:

Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex book of business, provide direction and support to junior professionals and monitor trends while developing and executing service delivery plans.
  • Engage externally with clients and brokers to educate and inform on service capabilities, products and market level strategies. Provide the day-to-day service and build long-term relationships with clients and brokers.
  • Attend geographically assigned local market client/broker meetings.
  • Accountable to keep account team and service leadership team well informed of account status and potential opportunities for expanded business.
  • Develop and execute service improvement and recovery plans including proactive actions, collaborate with matrix partners, account teams to ensure we meet/exceed client expectations for assigned book. Perform root cause analysis and use data and insights to mitigate reoccurrence of issues.
  • Accountable to exercise judgment in the evaluation, selection and adaptation of both standard and complex service techniques and procedures.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of book of business to ensure attainment of segment level results and service improvement plans.
  • Serve as primary subject matter expert and in support of team training: enhance, maintain and facilitate the standard operating procedures related to service delivery.
  • Utilize problem- solving skills to identify root cause and provide support for region across the segment and leadership on all issues and initiatives. Lead and/or participate in projects.
  • Collaborate and Partner with Tech Coaches, Trainers, Auditors & Compliance, leadership to ensure awareness of issues, elements/changes are infused in day-to-day processes and best practices are adopted. Facilitate and leads discussions.
  • Influence service partners to drive consistency and best practices with the local market and across markets and segments.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be proactive, anticipate needs with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Associate’s degree in a related field preferred or at least 5-7 years of related experience.
  • Previous extensive Sales Operations Services experience in insurance broker or insurance carrier space, procedures, compliance strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience working on a service support team, project team or as a business resource support for projects and initiatives preferred .
  • Exceptional knowledge and Technical understanding of insurance industry, broker experience, HMO, PPO, POS, funding, Compliance, contract and underwriting/rating knowledge and systems experience specifically using Excel and SFDC.
  • Prior experience working with matrix partners, coaching others and with external customers is preferred.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills (written, oral and professional presence).
  • Ability to attend client/broker events locally with potential to travel.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a communications strategy, inclusive of both internal (employee) and external audiences, that’s connected to our overall mission and business strategies.
  • Directly partner with the ELT member, as well as their Senior Leadership Team (SLT), on communications tactics and strategies.
  • Lead and develop a wide variety of communications, such as presentations, key messages, intranet content (stories, blogs, etc.), emails, videos, newsletters, employee and customer storytelling, and social media content, among others.

Financial Analysis Advisor – Technology Controllership – Hybrid

The Financial Analysis Advisor is responsible for providing core controllership responsibilities for one or more organizations within Cigna’s Technology organization. These responsibilities include: completing monthly/quarterly financial closes, reviewing forecast assumptions, providing comprehensive financial reporting, completing variance analysis, and monitoring financial risks and opportunities. This individual will partner closely with Finance and Technology teams to ensure that the Technology organization is operating in a cost effective manner and within agreed upon budgets. In addition, this position will provide ad hoc analysis and project support as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the reporting, analysis, and forecasting of Technology expenditures. Report and present trends and performance reports to Finance and Technology leadership
  • Support decision makers with tools, financial models, forecasting, reporting and analysis. Forecast performance, analyze trends, provide analysis and develop recommendations for a variety of Finance and Technology strategic projects
  • Communicate results, forecasts, and analysis to multiple groups and levels of management
  • Standardize and automate reporting and analysis to ensure accurate, consistent and up to date information
  • Become a subject matter expert for Technology forecasting and analysis
  • Coordinate and process necessary journal entries during monthly close
  • Lead meetings to analyze variances and identify risks and opportunities with participants from Cigna Finance and Technology teams
  • Provide support for the quarterly forecasting process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field and MBA / CPA desired.
